1. First contact and initial discussion
Reach us by phone, email or the consultation form. A lawyer listens to your situation, looks over the documents you have, and explains the key legal issues and possible ways forward.
If your matter needs a detailed file review before we can advise, we will tell you in advance so you can decide.
2. Scope and fee proposal
Before any work begins, Justix sends you a written proposal covering:
- the scope of work and what we will deliver;
- the lawyer responsible for your matter;
- the expected timeline;
- our professional fee and how it is calculated;
- any other costs (government fees, translation, notarisation, travel).
We do not start work until you have agreed to the proposal.
3. Legal services agreement
You sign a legal services agreement with Justix Law Firm setting out both parties’ rights and obligations, the fee, the payment schedule and our confidentiality undertaking.
4. Work and progress updates
One lawyer is responsible for your matter from start to finish. We update you at each key milestone and straight away whenever we need a decision or further documents from you.
5. Handover and close
We hand over the results, return your original documents and explain any next steps you need to take.
How fees are calculated
Depending on the matter, our fee is calculated in one of the following ways (Article 55, Law on Lawyers):
- Fixed fee per matter: for well-defined procedures such as company formation or trademark registration.
- Hourly: for advice, contract review and negotiation.
- Percentage of the value of the claim, contract or project.
- Monthly retainer for ongoing legal advisory.
Indicative costs for each procedure are shown on the relevant service page. The binding fee is the one stated in your agreement.
Payment
Please pay only into a bank account in the name of Justix Law Firm, or at our office. Justix will never ask you to transfer money to a personal account. If you receive such a request, call our hotline to check.
Confidentiality
Everything you tell us is protected by our professional duty of confidentiality, even if you do not go on to instruct Justix.
